Greetings, fans, and fellow enthusiasts! I'm Ishmael Zamora, and while you may know me for my prowess on the football field, there's so much more to my journey.
The Football Journey
Originally hailing from Houston, Texas, I made my mark as a skilled wide receiver, proudly representing the Los Angeles Raiders. My journey began at Baylor University, where I refined my skills and made a lasting impact.
During my sophomore year in 2016, I played in 10 games, securing 63 catches for 809 yards and eight touchdowns. I consistently ranked among the best in the Big 12 conference, showcasing my ability to make significant contributions to the game.
Highlights include an outstanding performance against Ohio State University, where I recorded eight catches, 175 yards, and two touchdowns.
As a redshirt freshman in 2015, I played a multifaceted role, contributing as a receiver, kick returner, and special teams player. My dedication earned me my first collegiate letter, accumulating 132 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions.
High School Standout
My journey traces back to Elsik High School in Alief, Texas, where I emerged as a national top 300 recruit. Excelling in both football and track, I secured a spot among the top prospects, ranking 16th among wide receiver prospects by 247Sports.
Beyond Football: The Next Chapter
As I navigate my path as a free agent, I've expanded my horizons beyond the gridiron. Football will always be a part of me, but I'm excited to share my ventures in entrepreneurship, travel, and more.
